Right on the corner of Rue Sainte-Catherine Ouest & Rue de Bleury, this little joint is perfect for a quick bite before a nearby event. Say, something at the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal?
A small interior is packed with more tables than seems possible but this goes unnoticed thanks to the massive windows lining the walls – and if you’re lucky enough to score a window table it feels like you’re dining outside.
We stopped for a bite before the free Rufus Wainwright concert last Thursday and, like every other restaurant nearby, it was packed to the max. There was one cook, one bartender/cook, and two waiters. But the service was surprisingly prompt; we were quickly greeted, ordered wine and pizza, and received everything in record time, with no pressure to leave. Not to mention, my water glass was never empty.
Great cracker-thin pizza. Great service.
